I was a challenger. Here are my teams. I ended up using two different teams throughout the event. The first is a sandstorm team, the second a volt - turn team. There wasn't that much memorable about my team, although Desmond may remember that I set up with Dragonite while he was on the phone, so he handed my his badge about four turns into the fight.

He is very fast. Very Fast.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Calm / Torrent

Bullet Punch is amazing. Also think I caught the normal elite four off guard with Superpower[/spoilerqf9]

This guy is great as a mixed attacker. Also he has U-turn.

Jolteon @ Choice Specs

- Hidden Power [Ice]

I love Jolteon. Also the hidden power only has about 40 base power, but Jolteon's coverage is really that bad.

This guy is awesome. I love high accuracy Thunder.

Rotom is very solid, great counter to ground types.

He doesn't have volt switch or u-turn. But I only have 5 guys with that move so I had to use someone for my last slot. He is a special tank and helps my other members sweep by inflicting paralysis.[/spoilerqf9]

One of the guys I used in the triple battle. Died but intimidate did its job.

Garchomp had the scarf in the 3 v3 so Channelure instead had choice specs, so it hit like two trucks.[/spoilerqf9]
