PAX Prime?

Hiya! I just stumbled across the PPL and I'm so excited about participating at PAX Prime this year! A couple questions:

1: A lot of the threads I've been scanning have all talked about PAX East. Am I on the right board or should I go somewhere else for PAX Prime talk?
2. I had a lot of fun playing in the VGC this year... anyway the Leaders/E4 would battle in a doubles format like VGC?
3. So if I have this straight, I just look for someone with a green scarf and challenge them? Then repeat 7 more times, then challenge E4? Do I need to have any kind of identification labeling me a challenger? I must have one of those yellow hats!

Glad you're going to be challenging us! You are indeed in the right place, much of the Prime stuff is just still behind the scenes on here as of right now. (And some things, like the rules, are already on the site.)

Some gym leaders have different quirks for their gyms, including double battles and things like that, but not all of them.

Yes, the gym leaders and elite four will have bright green scarves to help in identifying them. (The E4 will have a red stripes or something additional to identify them as E4.) As you said, you need to defeat 8 gym leaders, then you can challenge the E4 and the champion. You don't need to have anything on you to identify you as a challenger, just ask for a battle. (We will also have special meet-ups where you may be able to find several gym leaders, but we also encourage you to find leaders at other times.) There will be more than 8 gym leaders, in the hope that you can find 8 of them throughout the weekend.

Alright! So more than 8 Gym Leaders means more shots at Poke-glory! Are there more than four Elite 4/Champion? Also, any other awesome Pokemon related stuff at PAX that I shouldn't miss?

Also, for the singles battles, are they 3v3 or 6v6?
