East 2017 Team Showcase
Posted: Mon Mar 13, 2017 5:32 am
It's that time again everyone! As we all come down from a PAX sugar high, it's time to showcase the team that you led into battle this week. Whether you were a leader or challenger, feel free to post your crew for all to see!
I'll kick it off with mine.

The general idea with the team was a super gimmicky, yet oddly effective blend of Trick Room and faster Pokémon that functioned outside of it. I ran my gym as a Double Battle gym. The plan was to lead with Gigalith and Carbink. Gigalith would get the sand going and Carbink would set up Trick Room and screens. Golem would be the next one in to take advantage of the Trick Room and if needed, would explode on the last turn of Trick Room, leaving the faster clean up crew to come in. During rematches, I would switch it up and lead with Aerodactyl and set up Tailwind, which really baffled people. Overall, the team performed very well... maybe too well.[/spoiler6ll]
[b6ll]Alexander's Four Horsemen Bonus Team[/b6ll]
For anyone who made it through and defeated Oceanus without beating the other Horsemen, but still wanted to complete the challenge, they needed to face me with this team. It was only used once.

Another Double Battle team. The concept of this was to take a Pokémon from each of the Horsemen's teams. Omastar was from my team, Greninja from Commander Sheperd, Pikachu from Red, and Mega Sharpedo from Oceanus. Politoed for rain and Klefki for screen support were chosen to round out the team. Nothing super fancy here, but the team was pretty efficient in testing and won the only battle it saw at PAX.[/spoiler6ll]
