PAX Pokemon League

To those who make the scarves, let talk about method. This is my second year making scarves for the PAXAus League, so I was wondering how the others construct them? How do you attach the patches?

For me down under the scarves actually end up narrower and a slightly different colour. The only material can find is what apparently a fluro yellow but looks more fluro green. Also our scarves are not as wide. I also sew my patches on.

Since you haven't gotten any replies yet, I'll respond with what I know from helping elenielstorm make East scarves.

We've tried fabric glue. Sometimes that has worked. Last year, our fabric glue gave out on us and started falling of randomly during PAX. It was bad!!! D:

In early years, patches were sewn on. This is time consuming but works super great. Since Aus is small, this might be a viable option. It can be tough to get the needle through the patch, though. Be careful, don't stab yourself (I hear some blood was shed in the early days...)

If you don't have time for that, safety pins can also work! In combination with the glue especially, this is a sure-fire way to make sure that, if the glue gives up, the patch at least doesn't fall off the scarf!
