Hey friends!
My friend and I are looking to apply to be gym leaders for gym doubles for PAX East 2015. Looking around the site, though, I can't seem to find anything that details doubles rules. Maybe I'm just missing something?
Could somebody direct me to the part of the site for doubles applications and/or rules?
Thanks so much!

Hi there! Applications for next East are not yet open, you'll want to keep an eye on our twitter for an announcement (usually around the time East tickets go on sale).
As for rules, we use the same set regardless of what format you play in! Doubles, Triples, Rotation, all are bound by the same set
Applying to each individual that is (for example, when running our doubles team this past east, both SandstormS and I had a full team of 6 to choose from that abides by the rules-one each from the limited list, no duplicate pokemon, that sort of thing).

Great! Thanks for the input.
So when we each devleop our 6-man teams, we just each focus on following the individual rules ourselves?

Totally understand.
Looking at applying for doubles gym and running either an all fighting team or a fighting/psychic team (Brain/Brawn idea).
Thanks for the help!

Pssssst East applications are open now! ;D
Also, since it's your gym, you basically determine how you want to run things (singles/doubles/4v4, etc). You can do whatever you think is most fun. Do try to make sure your team isn't too strong, though, which is why we have certain rules in place. If you're unsure, err on the side that gives the challenger a break.

On the note about strength, it's pretty crazy what you can build even with mono type and other theme restrictions you may choose to use. My Aus15 water team was devastating for example. One of the things a bunch of the Aus15 leaders did was to build two difficulty tiers of their gym. One for the competitive types and one for casual types. Which you can totally do too. Like Prop said though, within the overarching general PPL rules, your gym, your house rules.
Now if only I could figure out how to do inverse battles on wifi or ir.....

Have you ever considered incorporating Pokémon-inspired designs into your scarf creations, such as patterns resembling Pikachu's tail or Charizard's wings, to cater to the growing demand for unique and geeky fashion accessories?
