So, that team of highly trained monsters that fit in your pocket are ready to go, eager to sink their claws, teeth and... leaves... into their opponents. But PAX is still weeks away! How ever will you pass the time?

Get even readier for PAX with these Things to Do!

[bjb5]1. Change Your Trainer Type[/bjb5]
On the second level of the Violet City Pokemon Center is a man who will change your Multiplayer Avatar, the type of trainer you appear as to other people. Remember to pick one with a jacket. Boston's cold this time of year.

[bjb5]2. Change Your Canned Phrases[/bjb5]
In the Battle Tower part of the Battle Frontier, near the middle of the lobby is a man who will ask you about things you like to say. These are the phrases you will say during multiplayer battles. Change them to things that are different!

[bjb5]3. Party Up for Pokewalker Power[/bjb5]
When you transfer a buddy into the Pokewalker, a copy of your current team goes with them. Then when you connect to another pokewalker, an goateed, mirror mirror version of your trainer appears in that players Trainer House in Viridian City, and they move into yours. Make sure you have a tough team before transfer to give those people you meet in passing what for!

Or, alternatively, use a team of just a level 1 shiny Pidgey to make it easier on them to get Battle Points.

Hey, if anyone needs help with the last leg of preparation through obtaining BP, let me know. Foggy and I went through the Battle Tower online together, and while it took a bit for us to get through, the reward was 8 BP, and rises by 1 every time you complete seven rounds. I should be free almost all day today and tomorrow. Just let me know and I'm willing to go a few rounds with you.

Speaking of which, I'll be around tomorrow evening for battle tower tag teams. I may be around tonight, but that's not a sure thing at the moment.
