READ ME FIRST!: PAX Pokemon and You - A PPL Crash Course

Hello and Welcome to the Penny Arcade Expo Pokemon League!

If you've come to lurk or participate in our forum, then you probably pretty much know what we're all about already - which is great!
In the event that you don't, check out the spoiler below:
[spoiler4f5]The PAX Pokemon League (PPL) is an alternate reality game that is played at PAX, the semi-annual gamer festival held in Seattle and Boston. At PAX, there will be gym leaders in green scarves wandering the convention hall, ready to take on challenges. Find them and defeat them in a Pokemon battle (using your copy of Pokemon Black or White) and you’ll receive their badge! If you can collect eight badges, you’ll earn the right to challenge the Elite Four, and perhaps a Champion, for the right to be crowned a Champion yourself! The PAX Pokemon League is not a Pokemon tournament. Just like in the Pokemon games, ANYONE can train a team of their favorite Pokemon and challenge the League! Started at PAX Prime 2010, with the support of a small group of dedicated leaders, the PAX Pokemon League has grown and, with your help, continues to grow each year! We are also not, in any way, affiliated with or sponsored by PAX, Penny Arcade, Nintendo, or any other organization.[/spoiler4f5]

But before you venture out into the tall grass that is our forum, we want you to be aware of a few things:

1. Please use your manners: People of all genders, races, religious backgrounds, and ages visit the PPL website and fora. Let's all respect each other and be aware of the things we say.

2. If you ever encounter a problem with anyone in the League, management or otherwise, please come talk to us about it: We're all here to have fun. We're [b4f5]volunteering our time[/b4f5] to make something awesome occur, and it's something that the management can't do alone.
If you happen to witness or be the victim of verbal abuse or harassment by any user on our forum, please contact one or more of the organizers listed below!

ALL-TEAM ORGANIZER! Propriety not only manages PAX East, but acts as our All-Team Organizer for all operating PPLs! He is also a master with spreadsheets - making him our official survey and stats guy for PPL! He admins the PPL forum, website, twitter and facebook page.
