Big $&@ AR Marker

I had an idea for a giant AR marker grid for use with the [url=http://serebii.net/pokedex3d/arviewer.shtmlby9]3D Pokedex[/urlby9] for the 3DS. If figure we could roll it out during meetups if people want to get their pictures taken. Two questions, though:
1. Do you think that the 3DS is going to be popular enough to warrant the effort?
2. Is anyone going to have time to run the thing once everything gets going?

1. Yes. There are thousands of people with the 3DS at the show!
2. Probably not, but it would be awesome to create anyway. We could even add a PPL watermark so people taking their pictures get our advertising accidentally.

Perhaps make it out of a single sheet, to make it foldable?

Well, the idea was to make it from flooring tiles, so they'll just stack up when no one's using them.

Ah, I see!
So if you had a backdrop, say the sheet, you'd only need 16 (black) flooring tiles to get every single possible design, right?
