I definitely agree that anything involving the internet while at PAX is a long shot, so here's a couple other ideas. If anyone is willing to buy a capture card and IF there is a Wii game that supports B/W by Prime and IF the people in charge of the Free-play room allow it, it would be very simple to record matches on said game and upload them later.
But I think maybe there is one other quick and dirty solution that just might work with the constraints of PAX, and it probably wouldn't be hard to do it for PAX East either. Introduced in Platinum version and continued in HG/SS the Global Terminal (formerly Global Trade Station) allows people to record their Wi-Fi or [bg5r]local battles[/bg5r] using the Vs. Recorder and [ug5r]share them publicly over the Pokemon Wi-Fi servers.[/ug5r] The recordings all have 12 digit numbers assigned to them that the person posting them them can tell to anyone so they can download and watch those specific videos.
It is a rather inelegant method considering there would be no announcer and not everyone has access to the special brand of Wi-Fi required by DSes but I really think it's entirely doable and easy to accomplish even within a limited time-frame. Please tell me what you think!
