In this day and age the chivalrous Ways of Aura are becoming a fading belief, as the few who take up the challenge and undergo the rigorous trials fall short of success; a fact Riley has sadly noticed. Hoping to change that trend, Riley began training with Lucario and his other trusted Pokemon at Sinnoh’s Battle Tower to make ready for the day when they could show the world that the Ways of Aura aren’t a relic of a long-gone era, so as to inspire trainers to form a new generation of Aura Guardians. That day came when he heard of the PAX Pokemon League and its uncanny ability to attract the world’s most talented trainers. Surely, he thought this would be his best chance to find trainers worthy of following the Ways of Aura as a Guardian!
